Ametrine is a mixture of amethyst and citrine. It is supposed to enhance mental and spiritual clarity and like all quartz is a strong amplifier of energy, Legend has it that ametrine originally became famous when it was received in a dowry by a Spanish conquistador who was marrying a princess in the seventeenth century. It was then given to the queen of Spain and introduced to Europe.
Rutilated is a variety of quartz which contains needle-like inclusions of the mineral rutile. Often used for gemstones it is valued for the quality and beauty of these inclusions.
Holy Ice prints are the finest quality giclee reproductions of my original paintings printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 305gsm paper. The inks used are of Museum archival quality however the prints should not be displayed in direct sunlight.
Each Limited Edition print will be signed, numbered and dated and will come with a Certificate showing the title, paper type, date and Edition size. The Certificate will bear a unique red ink stamp for that particular Edition which will be destroyed when that Edition is completed.
The First Edition of Holy Ice will be limited to 50 (per size) and prints are produced to order.
The prints come in two sizes, 65cm square and 40cm square. There is a 5cm white border all around each print.
